Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that affects the face, especially the cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. It is characterised by redness, inflammation, rashes, bumps and pustules, and can also involve thickening of the skin and dilation of facial blood vessels. It is more common in women and people with fair skin, but can occur in anyone, regardless of skin colour. Although the cause of rosacea is not fully understood, it is thought to be linked to a combination of genetic predisposition, environmental factors and immune system response. Rosacea cannot be cured, but can be treated with medication and lifestyle changes to reduce symptoms and prevent worsening of the condition.
skin type
Rosacea is a chronic inflammation of the skin on the face. The disease starts with redness in the centre of the face and a feeling of stinging and tingling in the skin. On the cheeks, forehead and nose, the skin becomes slightly thickened with small dilated blood vessels. Bumps and pimples are part of the disease.
When the skin reddens, it's because there is hyperreactivity or overactivity in the skin's blood vessels. The blood vessels dilate rapidly and this is what causes redness in the top layer of the skin. This is called a flare-up. Flare-ups occur suddenly, due to various factors.

LED light treatment has undergone rigorous testing and is now an old favourite in the beauty industry. The LED light is primarily used on the face, but can be used on the entire body. LED light does not contain the harmful ultraviolet rays that we know from the sun, and it does not burn the skin like laser treatment does. The red, blue and yellow LED light is currently used differently in treatments depending on the skin challenge.
The red light acts on the skin's surface where it penetrates and stimulates collagen production and circulation in the skin and reduces inflammation. The red light gives the skin more plumpness and an overall fresher appearance.
The blue light works in the skin's sebaceous glands, where it reduces the skin's oil production, which is why many people experience fewer breakouts after using LED lights. The blue light can also kill the bacteria that cause acne in the skin, which is why LED light also works against pimples that are yellow in colour. Blue and red light are often used together for anti-inflammatory and acne relief.
The yellow light Reduces age spots, hyperpigmentation and sun spots. Increases skin hydration and overall skin health. Your skin looks healthier and radiant. Also reduces redness by increasing the skin's blood flow.

Since 2019, we have been working intensively and diversely with our small light pen, which with its pointed head can target its treatment close to the eye area without affecting or damaging the eye itself. Our results have shown that if you use the light pen once a day, and at least 3-4 times a week, you can prevent, repair and significantly improve your eye area. You will see the first results after just 14 days.
BLUE LIGHT: Tightens and stimulates collagen for more elastic skin.
RED LIGHT: Deeply massages, increases absorption of moisturisers and improves blood circulation.
Lyspen is always used with eye gel:
